PLAN: Payslip Mathematics Correction
🔴 The Mathematical Discrepancy
Based on your confirmation, we have an exact target we are trying to hit, but our base formula is out of balance.
Here is what we know from your physical payslip data constraint:
- Net Pay Target: ₱10,482.50
- Absence Deduction Target: ₱2,824.62
If we work backward to find what her Total Earnings should equal:
Total Earnings = Net Pay (10,482.50) + Deductions
Total Earnings = 10,482.50 + 2,824.62 (Absences) + ₱517.50 (Statutory)
Total Earnings = ₱13,824.62
Since ₱13,824.62 is higher than her static Cut-Off Basic Salary (₱13,000.00), this means one of three things must be happening on the physical payslip you are holding:
- She has additional earnings (like Overtime or Allowances) adding
~₱824to her Gross Pay. - The
₱13,000Cut-Off salary isn't actually her base. - The SSS/PhilHealth deductions are completely different than our ₱517.50 assumption.
🛠 Plan to Resolve
We must update PayrollService.php to calculate Absences dynamically based on dividing 2,824.62 / 4. However, to write the code flawlessly, we must bridge the ₱824 gap.
